JMattson - HITTEM WHERE IT HURTS (Ft. SXMPRA & MVKO) song review

     JMattson is an artist from the HellHound Militia and is based in the Portland, Oregon area. This artist is joined by sxmpra and MVKO for an exiting phonk track. I have extensivley listened to sxmpra (and have interviewed him) but have not heard of MVKO. This track is produced by FALLEN.

     Now the main melody is a horrorcore sounding melody which is complimented by an amazing a capella sample. This sample has been in numerous songs but the percussion compliments its use in this song a lot. The percussion is a trap sounding but still bouncy beat. It has the feel of boom bap but the percussion is still modern.

     JMattson's verse in the beggining is well done with the mixing having a lower pitched delivery layered down which makes the delivery sound more demonic. His flow speeds up and down which compliments what sxmpra is about to do. Sxmpra does these fast raps with slick lines like "Schemin like a demon to the grave hoe" delivered with distorted effects which speed up and down. MVKO delivered a raspy ice cold verse that was quite enjoyable.

     This track is an over the top phonk track that justifies it's run time. This smooth and intense track makes me wanna hear more from these 3 artists. The horrorcore melody had some cool vhs effects or distortion effects which made it memorable. 

Overall I would give this track a 7.8 out of 10. It would get added to the playlist and would last 4 weeks on it. Link below to the song.
